Celebrate Moringa – Day 16

Let us celebrate moringa in Uganda. Did you know that moringa was first introduced by the government in Uganda in the late 1990s and early 2000s?

Yes! Back then many farmers got excited about this new and promising cash crop. However, Moringa didn’t bring them the return they were expecting, so most of the farmers rejected moringa, believing it was useless.

However, we thank God that some farmers and entrepreneurs caught the vision. Today we meet one of them, Levi Wakisi, the founder of the Face of Moringa Uganda.

Watch the video to hear his story. The transcript of the video is below.

Celebrate Moringa – Day 8

Today we are blessed with an inspiring Moringa story from Mignon Johnson from Mississippi, USA. She wears a few hats – registered herbalist, agriculture consultant, and wellness coach.

She tells how moringa healed her family, and how many, seeing the change in them, wanted moringa also.

In 7 years she and her partner, Robert, have built a successful moringa farm and business, called AB & Nettie Farms LLC, and currently has 13 product lines.

As you will see from the photos, they are frequently seen at various markets in their state and have also attended a Moringa Awareness event in Times Square, NY.

Mignon says they have exciting plans for 2022, and through moringa, they desire to bless many in the US, in Africa, and abroad.

We shall have healing of all nations as our Father planned.

Meet Mhaouek Sonia who has started her own moringa farm, after learning about Moringa on Facebook.

Being a teacher, she did a lot of research on moringa, which led her to pursue this miracle tree for herself.

Her love for moringa has given her a desire to grow more trees and encourage other people in Tunisia to grow them, especially among poor families.

She sees it as an answer to nutritional challenges faced by poor families.

Celebrate Moringa – Day 6

From Kurdistan Iraq, we greet Issa Aljojri, whose moringa journey started just over 2 years ago.

It all started on Facebook when he read a moringa article by Dr Abedel Kareem from Jordan (whose story we shared the other day).

Issa then went on his pursuit for moringa. Firstly it meant searching and travelling to buy moringa seeds, to planting them in his garden. Then in a matter of months he was picking and using his own moringa leaves and sharing with family and friends.

Both he and his family and friends agree that the Moringa tree is truly a MIRACLE tree.

“We all have to plant moringa!”
