Moringa Enterprise Emerges in the Lowest Part on Earth (Jordan Valley Dead Sea Area)
Celebrate Moringa – Day 14
Again we celebrate Moringa in Jordan. This time we go to the lowest part of the earth, the Southern Jordan Valley, near the Dead Sea. It is also known as the greenhouse of the Jordan.
We congratulate the founding members of DMDT (Darrat Almanal for Development and Training), Manal Alwazani & Dr. Sawsan Majali.
This not-for-profit company was established in November 2016. Then in 2018 DMDT started a moringa tree-growing project to support and empower the youth and women in the region. The project proved to be successful in that it provided job opportunities for the local community, and they, in turn, contributed to the whole production chain. Today they sell a wonderful range of Moringa products.
Enjoy their story, and if you want to contact them their details are at the bottom of this article.

Papua New Guinea, in the southwestern Pacific, encompasses the eastern half of New Guinea and its offshore islands.
A country of immense cultural and biological diversity, it’s known for its beaches and coral reefs. Inland are active volcanoes, granite Mt. Wilhelm, dense rainforest and hiking routes like the Kokoda Trail. There are also traditional tribal villages, many with their own languages
Today we meet Retired Rev Hoge Rabura who resides in Port Moresby on the Island. He has a strong relationship with Africa Moringa Hub because of his love for and desire to learn more about moringa.
Since he started, he has wonderful stories to tell about the impact Moringa has had among the island people. Their moringa social enterprise is called Romote Moringa Products, and their principles are care, love and skills in the soil to teach about life.

Growing and Spreading Moringa Love in Iraq
Celebrate Moringa – Day 10
Great news from Iraq! Moringa is growing well, thanks to a moringa pioneer, Mari Al-Haram.
Before Mari, who learned about moringa, there was not much known about it in his country. However, after learning about this miracle tree, Mari had to pursue it and plant some in his garden.
He was amazed at how quickly it grew and started to flower and then produce seeds. Now he is able to spread the moringa love in Iraq.
Congratulations, Mari, for a job well done!
