How Important Moringa Farmers are to Africa

As we look at the world, and disturbing world events, it is easy for us to become discouraged and deeply concerned about the impact this will have on Africa. There is talk of global food shortage and greater effects on our climate. Drought, floods, earthquakes, war, famine, and you name it, are in the mix. How can Africa survive?

In this article, Mariana Price from South Africa, shares how Moringa Farmers can be the lifeblood of Africa.

Farmers are Africa’s Lifeblood

Well, that is where farmers come in, and importantly, Moringa farmers. With more farmers planting moringa trees (our miracle tree), it is possible to bring about change.

How can we make change happen?  Here are some suggestions:

  1. Encouraging more Moringa innovations in all products;
  2. Showing how Moringa can be included in our everyday foods;
  3. Using Moringa as a superfood (food supplement);
  4. Follow the global trends and demands (people are excited about Moringa, so the demand is there), and adapt to the market.

Plan and Plant Wisely

However, it is unwise to plant without a proper business plan and offset in place. There are many options to follow.

  • Moringa is a great food supplement,
  • also great for animal feed,
  • and most of all, it is a great plant growth enhancer.

In the climates we have lately and disasters that are destroying so much of our hopes we need to plant correctly and healthy for success.

For each and every Moringa farmer, we say thank you and we congratulate you all in all your efforts.

  1. Never neglect to reach out to the small upcoming farmers no matter how small. You are going to need as much produce in future to fill the demanding orders.
  2. There are many of us breaking the barriers to promote and bring awareness globally. Innovation is the greatest tool to have in any value added production.
  3. Make sure you are keeping good business practices in place and be careful of sharks in the industry.
  4. Make sure your money is safe in the tradings and do not trust just anyone. Never be shy to check things out and you have the right to do so.

A huge thank you and may your efforts bring much change and healing.
