My name is Zahir Khatib. I want to share with you my story with moringa in Jordan.
My Moringa Discovery and Journey
The Moringa tree has an eye-catching attraction.
My interest in moringa started when I watched a video about the use of Moringa leaves to boost the immune system. From here, I knew Moringa, then I joined the national initiative of Dr. Abdel Karim Al Mahamid to introduce the Moringa tree and spread its cultivation.
At the national level, and from here, my journey began in spreading the culture of introducing Moringa, and spreading its cultivation through videos and posts explaining its advantages and methods of cultivation and care.
We are moving forward with a national initiative on social media using the hashtag – #_plantit_in_your_home – to promote the concept of moringa benefits with the local community. We’ve published many bulletins and videos on YouTube and Facebook, and visits, initiatives and efforts have been made.
Our goal is self-sufficiency for cities and neighbourhoods in our beloved Jordan, by participating in planting Moringa seeds and trees in homes and farms and introducing the advantages and benefits of moringa.
