‎Welcome and Introduction

‎‎Distinguished speakers, moderators, Moringa partners, farmers, entrepreneurs, researchers, and friends from across the world — good day to you all!

‎‎It is with great joy and honor that I welcome you to the 3rd Global Moringa Premiere + Live Q&A Conference 2025, proudly hosted by Africa Moringa Hub (AMH Online) under the inspiring theme — “Grow Your Moringa Wealth Locally!”

‎‎This theme captures our deep belief that the true wealth of the Moringa industry begins right where we are — on our farms, in our communities, and within our local economies.

‎Because local action is the seed that grows into global transformation.

‎‎Today, as we gather from Ghana to Colombia, Nepal to Australia, we are united by one extraordinary tree — the Moringa, the “Tree of Life.”

‎It symbolizes resilience, innovation, health, and opportunity — the very values that define us as Moringa actors and changemakers.

‎Our Journey and Impact

‎‎Since 2016, AMH Online has worked tirelessly to connect growers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and advocates across Africa and beyond — promoting sustainable agriculture, fair trade, and innovation in the Moringa value chain.

‎‎Despite operating with no external funding and relying solely on volunteers, AMH has become one of the most dynamic voices in the global Moringa movement.

‎‎This year, 2025, has been truly remarkable:

‎‎1. The “One Home, One Tree” Initiative 

— launched in February by MoringAfrik (Cameroon), with partners from Ghana, South Africa, and Mali — including Moringa City, AMH Online, Shine Africa, and Diakite Amadou (Papa Moringa).

‎Together, we distributed over 10,000 Moringa seeds — ten free seeds per household — planting hope, health, and sustainability across Africa.

‎A special thanks to Vanessa Linda Kapche, Mariana Price, Joshua Haruna, and Papa Moringa for their leadership.‎

‎2. Moringa City Talk Group

To strengthen community connection, we created the Moringa City Talk Group on Telegram — a global hub where members share stories, showcase products, and learn from one another. Because when we share knowledge, we grow together!‎

‎3. April – Global Trade Forum: 

Over 90 participants joined our “Market Trends & Business Opportunities” session, exploring new pathways for Moringa trade.

‎‎4. New Partnerships: 

We proudly welcomed Shai Hills Snails & Agriculture Farm Ltd and 4usFarms (Ghana), Eden Moringa Productions (Nigeria), Moringa Education Colombia, Farmer’s Pride (Botswana), and AANAM (Mali).

‎‎5. Field Collaborations: 

Our representative Joshua Haruna visited farms across Ghana and South Africa — strengthening ties between producers and partners.

‎‎6. Regional Awareness: 

In Mali, AANAM officially launched and hosted Moringa Day on September 14, with strong government participation — a major milestone!

‎‎7. Innovation in Communication: 

For the first time, this conference offers AI-generated multilingual transcripts in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, and Portuguese — making our dialogue more inclusive than ever.

‎‎8. Trade Expansion: 

The creation of AMH Global Trade (South Africa) now enables African farmers to access the South African and EU markets — a major leap forward!

‎‎⚙ Challenges and Resilience

‎‎Yes, we still face challenges — funding shortages, connectivity gaps, and logistical barriers — but our spirit remains unshaken.

‎Our strength lies in the passion of our volunteers and partners who keep this vision alive.

‎‎I extend heartfelt gratitude to Bernadette Woods, Mariana Price, and Joshua Haruna, whose unwavering commitment since 2016 has been the backbone of AMH’s growth and resilience.

‎‎🌍 Looking Ahead

‎‎In 2026, we aim to host our first-ever physical Moringa Conference and Networking Event — bringing together farmers, researchers, and businesses face-to-face for the first time.

‎‎To achieve this, we invite sponsors, donors, and partners to join hands with us — to build stronger local industries, empower farmers, and expand Africa’s green economy through Moringa.
