Meet Pastor Innocent Hankanimana, Burundi (Guest Speaker)

Pastor Innocent Hankanimana is a dedicated educator, community leader, and advocate for sustainable health practices.

At 50 years old and married, he brings over 15 years of teaching experience, having served in secondary schools within refugee camps, where he impacted the lives of many young people through education.

His journey with moringa began in 2010 when he first learned about its potential. Driven by curiosity and passion, he conducted extensive research into its nutritional and health benefits. This led him to integrate moringa advocacy into his community work.

In 2017, Pastor Hankanimana founded the African Child Agape Foundation, a grassroots organization focused on improving community well-being, with a strong emphasis on promoting the use of moringa.

Following his voluntary repatriation to Burundi in October 2023, he re-established his mission by launching Foundation Agape pour l ’Enfant Africain (FAEA). Through this organization, he continues to champion child welfare, education, and the transformative power of moringa in building healthier communities.
