50 Years Living with Moringa Trees

Dr Madan was born in 19 July 1949. He is a great scholar and scientist of Nepal. As well I say of him as a father of trees. He is a social activist, and he has a different view of lifestyle and organic farming.
He made compost manure by his own ideas. He is a genuine scientist, and he works in UN FAO. He graduated in agriculture of Rajasthan College of Agriculture from India, and first post graduate from horticulture from Bath University London. He is served as an international for United Nations food from 1989 to 1999. He has run one modern Foundation. He is a genuine scholar of our Nepal and as well he is a scholar of the world in Plants. So let’s welcome our Dr Madan Rai.
Thank you for seeing all of you here. Very good morning very good evening!
I can see people from around the world and it’s very good to see you all talking about plants. My background Hement has already explained to you, and it’s not exactly what it is. But I’m I’m a child of the plants. I have understood now lately that plants are our parents, therefore I love plants. I live with plants and I do everything with plants, therefore what Hement has said, that I was born in the forest among plants in the village, and I was trained as a plant expert in education and also I have been working with the plants now.
I’m happy that among the plants Moringa is one of the most important plant that human beings have investigated in terms of its nutritional and economic value, especially health value. I used to take its green fruit as vegetable and it was one of my favorite veggies in my early age, but now it has become one of the most important medicinal and food plants.
So thank you so much, and I wish that we not only plant moringa. We should try to spread our knowledge about the plants. Our life for 100 years has been a little bit, I think, diverted to wrong direction. We ran away or we moved away from plants therefore there are a lot of problems, human problems, environmental problems, that humans we have created. Therefore we need to come back to understand the meaning of five elements that is, Sun, Water, Sky, Earth, Air, and also different kinds of plants and animals. Hence it is high time to understand and in that for human beings, or for living beings, plants are the most most vital thing that we need to care. We need to understand and we need to work with and spread knowledge, not for making money, because we are now in a wrong direction, and one thing that we are all trying to make money, grab money, and also hold money, store money. That is the thing which is giving us a lot of a national, personal, and international problems. Therefore it is through Moringa, one of the best probably most valuable plants, that we try to spread the knowledge and values of plants to all human beings around the world, so that whatever is happening now, especially in the name of Environmental degradation, damage or global warming, the human need not only humanity, it is the life on Earth which is threatened very badly. Therefore it is through the service of plants and through the caring of plants, which is our mother, I think we can reverse all those wrong doings we have already committed in the past can be reversed.
So let Moringa become one central point, and then through that we can serve over all the plants and that will probably help to make our Sun, Water, Sky, Earth and Air, our main savior of our our humanity and living world.

I am here now working with the children for the future. I’m trying to teach my children, but we have about 200 children of different ages. We want to teach five elements, five kinds of plants, and five living creatures.
I’m sure that you know will the linkages between them will remain, and the destruction of our living world will be again recovered. It will be so that we all live happily in the coming days.

Tomorrow is January 1st, which means it happens to be a new year. So please Dr Madan Rai, scientist and father of trees! I give him one name – “Father of Trees – not only Nepal, but worldwide “Father of Trees”. His scientists believe he’s a great person.
Thank you Hement! Thank you all! I’m not father of trees I am the SON of a tree. I’m a good child of a plant, where all living creatures are, not only human beings, but four-legged animals, two winged birds, and six legged insects, and one might say microbes. They are we are all living creatures. We are the children of plants.
We are very happy today at the end of the year 2022. We have discussed a lot about our parents, mothers, especially mother plants are or plant is our mother. Therefore it is good to talk at the end of the year about our mother. It is good to reflect to remember and also to commit ourselves for the coming new year, that we are committed to serving our mother, and not take benefit advantage of the mother and destroy our own home. That is our universe, therefore I think it’s a good thing that you have started in the name of Moringa. We have discussed a lot about plants.
Therefore I wish very very happy New Year, very very happy beginning, and very very very very fruitful, peaceful, and prosperous healthy, because plants give us Health. Therefore, if health is our wealth, wealth is nothing. I have made a lot of wealth. I’ve met again a lot of knowledge without action is useless wealth. Without you sharing, or you know if it doesn’t care for the universe it’s useless. Therefore let us be different in 2023 and keep continue our discussions on serving our mother plant. Therefore I wish all of you very very happy evening, or happy morning, wherever we are, because we are from around the world.
